AI isn't going to replace lawyers, it’s not even close.
The legal industry is a closed loop: lawmakers write the rules, and they aren't about to hand the keys to an algorithm. This isn't like tech or retail where you just buy a license and disrupt the field; here, the gatekeepers are the practitioners.
This is exactly why we see AI models being 'watered down' when it comes to legal context. If an AI gets too efficient at providing legal advice, the bar associations will sue it into oblivion.
Law school is still a safe career path because the profession is effectively bulletproof by design.
