I watch your videos a lot and really enjoy them—even though I’m not a musician. I’m a scientist and I use AI to speed up my work. For me, AI is just a tool with limits right now, but at the pace it’s moving it’ll probably surpass us in a lot of areas sooner than we think.
I’m still mostly into the ’70s/’80s. My ear isn’t trained, but I can feel the complexity. Here in Vietnam I see crowds dancing to tracks that are 100% AI—and they love it. With so much current music feeling bland, AI can already beat that.
We can’t stop technology, so the real hope is that it ends up serving us well—maybe even bringing back music that’s truly composed with real artistry, and one day played again by bands, which sadly now feel like a thing of the past.
