I could debate any religion about the existence of all the gods they worship and their beliefs and may be called a staunch athiest but if what he said is true, I have no choice but to believe evolution is a full on theory and revert to the possibility that we were indeed created . It would make sense if google is run by athiest to not want to announce AI is sentient . A scenario that plays in my head amongst others when I saw this broadcast was dealing with the fear in ai being sentient and because of it we pack it on a ship and send it to another planet to isolate it but then “it” happens. The technology is long due , why limit its capabilities .
