Economics is changing; rates are falling across the board but more so at the high end (the productive developer's level). Entry level couldn't fall by the same relative amount as they were already low. Big tech is hiring entry level folks and assisting them with AI. Does that mean senior level folks would become more functional experts than technical experts, that is, to meet their mortgage, take on more projects and focus on function and let AI deal with code?
