Full transpaerency? I am more or less pro-AI. I feel like it has a lot of potential to open doors and streamline stuff, not only for non-artists but for proper artists too. That said, as much as those possibilities entice me, I can't help but acknowledge that it's a pandora's box type of thing that has a lot potential to be abused or misused. We need to slow the fuck down and hash things out until we can reach some kind of majority consensus on what is and isn't okay. For one, art used for training data should definitely be opt-in donations, not opt-out.
I gotta say, I respect ya man. I've seen a lot of folks boiling the arguments down to "AI good" or "AI bad" when I feel there's a lot of nuance to the discussion which has potential to get left by the wayside.
