First of all. We can't stop progress in AI and robotics technology. It is part of human nature to progress to a high level of efficiency. Like the discovery of fire. But the dependency on the advancements of these technologies is what the issue is. Fire became an open source technology shortly after it was discovered. Every individual or tribe learned to use it efficiently and collectively throughout, and those that failed to use it became obsolescent and dependent. Those who master the technology will prevail and rule over those who do not. Not many people in our modern society have the ability to master the " Fire " of our time. So the leadership of of the people that control it are going to determine who stays warm, thrives and who remains cold and oppressed. So it's about leadership empathy and how this new fire will benefit the human condition. The big question is "Who do you trust with your grandchildren's future?
