Thank you for the great real-life feedback on what is happening in the software engineering world with AI. I would say most of that AI workflow presented from your styling of day-to-day work of programmers also applies to what I regularly use in my career as a Full-Stack Developer.
My AI Workflow for Software Engineering:
1. Define the business problem in one sentence.
2. Write down success criteria, how you will measure if it is solved.
3. Outline the simplest solution logic in pseudo code.
4. Discuss core questions until they are answered.
5. Create an implementation plan.
6. Iterate on the plan.
6. Execute the plan, step by step.
7. Verify results by reading changed code, running tests, etc.
8. Analyze the final solution on edge cases.
9. If the major issue is found, rollback to step 1.
