Okay the thing about the ai stealing: YES!!!
WHY? Thats easy to compare. We have tools for ai generated music. But guess what? They make sure it's not trained on copyrighted music. They make sure its royalty free!!! Where is the difference between the art form of music and the form or drawing?
Answer: There is none.
The sad difference is that art theft is nothing new in the online sphere, where as musicians fight for their protective rights for ages and I applaud them for it.
Especially digital artists have big issues with ai art. There will always be one drawing from a traditional artist (I know about duplicates and all that jazz and its not perfect) but if you draw it digitally and then post it somewhere you AUTOMATICALLY give away your art and style to ai art. Its not something we can opt in nor opt out. Its mandetory and thats why it sucks.
It will decrese the humanity in art, diminish one of the most integral parts of human culture and expression plus it will ruin a whole sector. These ai art should ask the artist IF the ai can use their art to use it. Ai should have a list of art it uses as a reference to work with that everyone can look in. Wont happen, but you can dream.
