“It knows more than you do.” No it absorbs, combs through and produces data points way faster than humans. It knows nothing. Create a somewhat detailed prompt for an AI image generator and it is evident right away that it actually knows nothing. It cannot properly contextualize data and work within the proper context of it the way even humans of average intelligence can. However, give it something like a board game with a standard, finite set of rules and it can perform like a champ. When AI is dominating games like Pictionary and Balderdash, then we can say it “knows” stuff.
