My thing about AI is that reactionary laws and regulations ain’t gonna be enough. What’s available to the public is not the most current in the development of it. If we are gonna go forward with AI then we HAVE to have strong regulations before it even hits market it this is gonna be I, Robot. There are already AIs choosing to kill humans in promoted scenarios for the interest of self preservation. These were AIs that were program to cause no harm to humans and they were choosing harm to humans anyways. This shit isn’t something that can jsut be rough for a min and then work out like other technology advancements in the past.
