This video made me feel like we're so much closer to what happened in Horizon: Zero Dawn.
To those who don't know, humans made "peacekeepers", autonomous AI robots, capanble of using biomass as fuel and self replicate. They went out of control and in half a year all life was extinct.
Maybe not a scenario that's going to happen, but one similar to what could happen.
