I've been trying to educate people how to handle this. AI taking jobs isn't a problem, it's the future. But here's how humans can still make money without ridiculous taxes or unsustainable systems like UBI. Retraining programs are a dumb idea. Why? Because we are headed towards a future where most jobs are automated. Most people will be unemployed, not because they are lazy, but because there are no jobs available. All retraining will do is keep people in school until the job they are retraining for becomes automated. Sure, some new jobs will be created, but not enough for most to have one.
