You'll never be able to stop deep fake pr0n unless society completely destroy deepfake technology. Even banning it won't stop it, as Scarlett Johannson stated, since it will not be banned elsewhere & can be hosted on servers located in another country. If people think that banning it in the U.S. would stop it.... they are sadly mistaken, as that is to think the online world is no bigger than the U.S. You also cannot stop it on the end of the consumer because of VPNs. There is an argument to be made, that you cannot stop those who disseminate it, either, for the very same reason, but why not let people get a moral victory? (Also because if I dont agree that some kind of pointless law should happen, I'll be accused of supporting it, making it, or being a deep fake pr0n video myself. 😂) For those that are unaware, though, the stuff has a really... IDK what you call it, "deep library?" Because when I grew up, people did crudely made celebrity heads photoshopped onto a picture of a nekkid lady, if you wanted that. Except now, you can get HUNDREDS of deepfake videos of a celebrity.... that look like s××t & glitch because deep fakes are meant to look directly at the camera & pr0n does everything but that. Then again, it was a couple of years ago when I looked it up (around the time of the source tweet & article) cause a company spent a year trying to do a normal deepfake of Joe Rogan & succeeded. So I got bored and wanted to see what pr0n do & wasnt impressed. I wouldn't be able to take it seriously if someone tried to do that of me, but I know women feel different bout 'tings..
