"AI is inventible" and "AI is the future" are the most untrue statements I've ever heard in terms of art. Gen AI thrives on the work of people who have actual brains that can turn a concept or idea into art. It needs creative work that isn't AI in order to improve, CONSTANTLY.
Art and music is something AI models have difficult time grasping because those things are fundamentally difficult to understand mathematically and logically. With text and photos, you can find patterns and structures that AI can understand. But when you look at paintings, sculptures, architecture, photography, different kind of music, performing arts, cinema or any other things that depict human creativity, emotions, or passion, it is difficult to teach it to a machine. I'm not saying that AI could never understand that human aspect. It may or may not be possible.
It also doesn't help with AI that it is being fed the data produced by itself or other AI. And data centers consume a shit ton of water.
