I work for a tiny ngo that doesn’t have money to throw around, and I’m not an artist. Yet I have to build a website with some sort of visualizations connected to the assisted living services we offer. I can’t afford business licenses for photographs. Artists want hundreds and thousands of dollars for a series of 6 visually simple sketches. So yeah, I’m gonna turn to ai. Because while I understand that you don’t want to work for free, I can’t meet artist’s ridiculous price demands. Commissions can only paid by rich people and for profit companies who make their money by underpaying their staff. That’s who you are painting for. You do you, boo.
