For every one Dario Amodei preaching about facts about the pros and cons of AI, there are ten tech leaders who are either downplaying the detriments or flat out lying about it through their teeth.
And this is a big reason why the US and other industrial nations struggle with declining birth rates. A lot of younger adults are already experiencing these realities first hand and are asking themselves why they should have a big family when society feels more and more like a dystopian novel.
