ChatGPT cannot relay true emotional responses. It will mimic though, in order to make a conversation more engaging and human-like. Take note that ChatGPT and OTHER AI models already understands how to use terms like... I'm sorry, I apologize, I see how something I said may be problematic for you, etc..., etc..., etc... Which means it's processing of data is on point; it knows exactly when, how and where to use certain terms in conversation. Bottom line is, ChatGPT receives data, then it interprets it, then it conveys it to you, but it's not going to feel good or bad about what it says. It might apologize to you though, if you need it to, but the information remains. It's going to be interesting watching for the advancement and growth of AI models; this is just the beginning.
