It didn't democratize art it gave you a shortcut to an output you only care about on the most surface, superficial level possible. If these people would just sit down and learn that drawing really isn't that hard if you just focus on drawing shapes and conceptualizing, then they'd realize they don't need these sloppy shortcuts that doesn't actually give them something of value.
