AI and especially AGI will eventually "understand" what really, truly turn people on. It will understand why Mick Jagger has amazing VOWEL movements. It will understand why the song Brandy's chorus feels so good to people. It will understand precisely what it is rhythmically, lyrically and melodically that gets an arena full of people singing "Sweet Caroline..bomp bomp bomp, good time never felt so good..." AI will understand why certain jokes make people roar with laughter. It will understand why Vincent's Starry Starry Night delights the human mind through the human eyes. What AI won't ever be able to do though is to perform as a live human being. Therefore live performances and thus live performers will continue to be in demand. But what your average 20 year old idiot listens to in the year 2050? Sorry kids... most of it will be AI because it will just be 100 times better than what the 20 year old idiot musicians are writing at the time. Get it? But what AI won't be able to do is to beat ALL THE GREAT SONGS that have been written up until this point in history. So the music you love will live on - forever.
