People vouching for AI are basically saying they're too lazy to put time and effort into anything. Skills are meaningless to them.
What makes absolutely zero sense to me is that they want things people enjoy to go away. Might as well have an AI talk to your friends, watch your shows, and pet your dog. Then they can truly live the AI life of working a dead end job that they hate.
