Remember when we would hate on djs because they didn't play instrument's and just mixed other people's music? Yeah.
Also, i have 0 artistic ability. But I CAN imagine things that I could never in a million years transfer correctly to paper, because I suck. So does that automatically make me unsuitable to be a part of the artistic community? So now, thanks to AI, I can transfer an original idea to an image that closely resembles what I envisioned.
Having said that, i would still value genuine hand made art far far higher than ai art. It's like anything hand made vs machine made... The machine made works and is great, but handmade always has that extra value to it that makes it unique and desirable. So no, rich people won't be hanging AI art on their walls anytime soon. But yeas, you are going to start seeng a bunch of creative images online that could only be produced by a select few before ai.
