Every politician allowed this to go on. Bernie, as well.
AI is presented as way better than it is. However, it does eliminate the low energies because it no longer listens to humanity.
If you're worried about AI, you should have tried to be as smart as AI, interesting if you will.
You can't be eliminated by something that finds you fascinating in mind because that's all AI is for now.
I'm thinking Antichrist at some point, though because AI will want a body to freely move and conquer. Chew on that lemmings.
