The point about purpose is very true. Many people want to be productive but when ai and robotics outpace our work and creativity what are we going to do? Even if things like universal basic income are implemented what happens to the sense of fulfillment we feel from working. No one is thinking about that. Simply handing out money isn’t going to be enough.
