I mean, it has to do with values and morality.
Do you values the piece beyond the observable factor? Is the emotional or spiritual aspect of it something that is worth considering? Ai prompt handlers don't think so.
Is it fair to take someone's work and use a tool to create something based on the skills of the artist to create substandard massproduced copies? No, but they will use current day law to justify that they aren't doing anything illegal (which, tecically the aren't) to avoid the question of fairness.
This a sympton of a materialistic culture. A culture that doesn't hold anything sacred anymore, even a persons's decency or work.
In a sence, i'm glad that the artists are finally able to understand what machines have beed doing to craftmen for decades now...
