I like how penrose said it, consciousness is more than just knowledge, it is associated with life experience, like it might take you a year to learn calculus while AI can learn it in seconds, but it was not in a class compete with other AIs with some bad AI teacher that made it even more confusing after it learns it while trying to work and survive in a ruthless AI world in which it could decide maybe calculus is not for it and try learn something else from other AIs, there is no freedom of choice and a purpose because it have no competition, almost as if consciousness is associated with life itself and failure, just don't seem to make sense if you instant knows a knowledge then try attach meanings to it
