Now with Elon Musk being appointed to lead Trump's new DOGE, it raises serious questions about regulatory oversight when the same person running a company with major safety concerns is also positioned to influence government regulations. How can we trust there will be proper safety oversight when the lines between regulator and regulated are so blurred? Public safety should come before politics or profits.
