Whole lot of effort to describe a socialist future without using the word socialism, as if this wasn't predicted literally over a century ago during the first industrial revolution. Like then, it's the ruling rich class like Demis and the rest of the billionaires and CEOs and Board Directors that refuse to accept the necessary changes to the socioeconomic-ethnic hierarchy that places them at the top and gives them control over literally most resources. He thinks AI is just going to make everything cheap enough that all the poors can afford to stop living in ghettoes and can live in techno-feudalist ghettoes instead, rather than accepting that it will make the entire existence of the ruling rich class a preposterously unsupportable notion (as if it isn't already borderlining that fact right now in Western society).
Abundance isn't the problem, it's distribution. And the distribution problem will *inevitably* be solved, regardless of the delusions of wealthy techno-feudalist wannabes like this. They will not have the fascist dystopian future they want, at least not for long.
