What I've seen a lot of recently and really pisses me off: AI generated crochet! I love crocheting and I source inspo from pinterest a lot, and it's like half of the website is being flooded with AI generated crochet pieces! I always wonder if the link will also lead to an AI generated crochet pattern (which is almost certainly not going to look even remotely like the picture). I feel like it would have to be? Why would you promote it with AI otherwise?
They look super obviously fake to anyone that knows crochet (the stitches don't make any sense), but I always see people in the comments asking for the pattern so maybe it's not super obvious to everyone. I always have this visual in my head of someone clicking on a link to find the pattern, maybe even being scammed by paying for it only to discover it was made by AI and doesn't turn out like the picture, and then maybe even blaming themselves for it not working. Uggghh it really sucks.
