Even if superintelligence doesn't happen, it's already bad enough. We are turbofucking ecosystems to run chatbots that turn people crazy, people don't leave their houses anymore, OpenAI wants to become a sex simulator service, all our data is being scraped and fed into a total surveillance program run by a psycho who thinks democracy is bad, women voting is even worse, and maybe humanity shouldn't survive at all, except for him. "AI" will be used as an excuse for everything, "flexible pricing" in supermarkets, rising insurance premiums, Israel is using AI as an excuse to bomb up to 100 people per suspected terrorist and wash their hands of decisions that are already made well in advance and never questioned. Endless slop and the attempted murder of all human art and culture is almost the smallest of these problems. This shit needs to stop
