Well there was a chance when they turned on the LHC that it could create a black hole and suck the earth in, so what did they do? They hit that start button and turned it on to see what happened. That pretty much sums up how AI will go. We hear the possible catastrophic possibilities and go, oh well, it’s either for advancing science or more likely advancing wallets
