I'm older.
Tech executives think that what programmers do is write code. What they don't understand is that the most important things a programmer does is all the stuff before and after writing code. Interview potential customers and try to decipher their vague desires. Debugging. All that stuff. The better the programmer is at that before and after stuff, the less time they need to spend writing code because they got the design right the first time.
All that before and after stuff are things that LLMs will never be able to do. Not without general intelligence.
