ChatGPT may seem intelligent, but really it's just very good at stringing random words and phrases together in ways that sound similar to what it's read. Often it will give you real, correct information assembled from various places, but just as often it will give complete nonsense that just sounds similar to what you're asking. I've asked it to write a short program and it did almost perfectly. (One bug, which I would have also made.) But for a more complex program, it _looked_ right at a glance, but made no sense. There were comments explaining what it was about to do, then no code at all before moving on to the next step, which didn't belong in that program at all. It's a great source, but always double check, because It's not really capable of knowing whether what it's saying is correct.
