I would have expected a more tougher and interesting questioning by the StarTalk team. You cannot just ignore the way in which an 'AI' gets to a response that looks like it's conscious to how a human does it. That's like equating a strawberry to artificial strawberry taste, it's not the same. Hinton also has a record of shifting alarmist predictions moving them decades ahead after they fail to hit their target.
