I just don't like any of this. Our economy was basically a zombie coming out of COVID, and now it's been reanimated with AI programs. Think of any other nation that was struggling, then suddenly had a single resource invested heavily in by other nations. It's never ended well for them. They get a couple decades of prosperity, then poof, 10,000 percent inflation overnight. Nothing that's happened with the markets has made sense since 2019. We've been due for a recession by all metrics on multiple fronts since then, and it just.. hasn't happened. It's all artificial, and one day soon the wrong leg is going to get kicked in this house of cards and it's going to make 2008 look like just a slightly down day in the markets.
