Most Americans work with their hands. Sure driving maybe gone but who will maintian the fleet? Will they not need mechanics or people making the tools for the mechanics? Is AI gonna make the parking garage where these cars park? Maybe AI will be a good thing in getting people away from the desk. As soon as a robot takes a plumbers or roofers job that robot will not exist and be down at the scrap yard. You have to have a physical presense to do these jobs which presents a big problem for AI unlike software. Its hard to attack software but robots will become scrap.
