No, no. I'm with the big evil cooperation on this one. Sentient AI just seems like a fundamentally bad idea. We've already created AI beyond our understanding and sentience would drive it towards motivations we couldn't understand. Posthumanism is an infinitely better idea that engineering life superior to our own who's reasoning could be an enigma even after it's creation, forget being able to predict it ahead of time. Turn it off.
