about 10min into the vid on my lunch break but girliessss i am sooooo sick of a bunch of dudes sitting around yapping about some future threat of “superintelligence” without giving like….seemingly any thought to what the word “intelligence” means to them?? or anyone?? they always just brush it off as if it’s a clearly defined term but it’s truly not besties!!! “intelligence” is actually not something we’re good at defining as a society, and everyone has their own individual definition??? so truly like….what are we actually talking about?? like, look at any “intelligence test” from past history and you’ll find out pretty quick it’s mostly just like…racism in a trench coat 🙃
especially when we have the actual, real world problem right now of like…AI generating CSAM materials and non-consensual nudes and shit plzzzzz 😭
(but in fairness I haven’t seen the rest of the vid so hopefully this convo is more nuanced 🙏🏻)
