I've been debating AI-bros for months, and they use the same arguments over and over again, as you mentioned in the video. (Photos vs paintings, horses vs cars, AI just learn like humans do, etc...) It's nothing but hypocrisy and AI propaganda, often from very suspicious (bot) accounts. But the truth is, AI models cannot learn as humans do; these models don't have a personal perspective of the world. AI models are based on a bunch of sophisticated optimization algorithms that can recognize statistical patterns in the so-called training data. Without the training data, an AI model is nothing. If we replaced our artists with AI models tomorrow, the art would look the same for the end of the Universe. AI cannibalizes itself. It's ridiculous how pro-AI people don't understand this very simple truth.
