Yep shes dead on. Been saying it for awhile now. Code is never JUST code. Its marketing, sales, finance devops and everything around that codebase, that makes it a viable company. On your own for your own viable app, yes you can build an AI app that is fairly impressive. But, even with that today using cursor for example, its like 5 steps forwards, 3 steps backwards. I was just working at a 300+ dev fledgling startup - not a single person at that company was really using AI to code. For advice, and general stuff, yes here and there. But for coding, NOOOO. None of them trusted it. It would have to be like 5-10X better probably... For pretty simple apps, it can get your a long way there, especially if you already know mostly how to code. For people that dont know how to code, its too much sorry. And for fluent devs, you might as well just code it lol.
