My question for these ceo's, yes in the shorterm they cut labor costs, and therefore increase profits, all is great for them.
What is your plan in a few years after all companies do this, just to compete, there is no people to buy their products since they all broke without jobs?
Even worse, USA whole economy is built on consumption, including the world trade relies on this huge consumption base? You take away, even half that this would be a world depression the likes of which the world has not seen.
I think AI will be a very destructive revolution in the long term. I dont see our goverment coming close to figuring out all the rammifications it brings till its too late, like always.
