Super intelligence is not coming anytime soon. GPT 5 😂. LLMs cannot work without humans. Like the computers they are, they can't 'understand' anything. They mimick human intelligence. They are running statistical analysis on massive databases, they are not thinking. There is no amount of development on the foundation of an LLM that will get you to AGI.
The billionaires are chasing funding with hype.
AI can and will do 95% of the tasks people currently do. 50% of the jobs people do now did not exist 30 years ago. 50% of the jobs people will do in 30 years dont exist now.
There will be a massive growth in productivity and collapse in prices.
90% of people dont need a job for meaning. They need a job for money to buy stuff they really need.
In a world of free labour (AI and AI bots), we have an opportunity to create a 10-fold improvement in quality of life for everyone. Will we grasp it.
