It's like they have bottled the essence of Cliff Clavin from the TV show "Cheers", and released it upon the internet as an artificial helpy helper... They shouldn't call it artificial intelligence, it should be called EI(Enshitified Intelligence)
I'm having to rewire the way I search for information now, and it involves brow beating some dense(and by that I mean severely over programmed) AI into cutting out the crap. It's aggravating because I haven't found an AI that hasn't been fitted with a "super helpful" enhanced bias in one way or another, and you have to go through a whole pre-conversation of telling the specific AI being used to turn it's default enshitification off as much as possible, before you can even begin trying to whip it in the general direction of the specific thing you're trying to research. Otherwise it's taking you down rabbit holes that don't even exist.
