Why dont they EVER elaborate on how PRACTICAL jobs will be replaced by AI ?
Bricklayer for instance.
Not very hard, in theory, to stack bricks straight.
In practice ? Very hard, with a ton of variable factors to take into account, and even MORE environmental factors literally setting up the jobsite.
So .... what will it take ? a massively expensive army of robots to set up the site, prep the materials, etc etc etc.
The price tag of the supply and work chain required is EXTREME.
I have worked in the automotive world for decades.
They said the same about painting robots. Sure, factories use them now, but they also still do manual painting, and for car repairs they ALWAYS do manual painting because no robot can do the work.
For programming, or other jobs that ONLY require a computer, im sure AI can start kicking ass very soon, but the rest of the world ? ..... im not convinced just yet.
