I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Generative AI has been taking jobs and replacing artists in creative fields, both companies and for individual pieces.
Also! There are a lot of physically and mentally disabled folks (including myself) who make their living or make a significant portion of their living off of their art. Without creative fields to work in, we could lose EVERYTHING. This isn't a fucking exaggeration, I have friends who CAN'T AFFORD NECESSITIES ANYMORE BECAUSE THEIR CUSTOMERS REPLACED THEM WITH AI.
If you wanna make art, THEN MAKE ART. With chalk, with paint, with markers, ANYTHING as long as you're the one making it. Sculpt, crochet, write, I don't care, just make something as a HUMAN.
I'll root for your creative journey all the way, just don't be part of why my friends are giving up hope!
