these AI-Bros have far more in common with these Art-Snobs, who glaze "contemporary" Artwork that either stands for nothing or is just yet another case of pseudo-intellectuals wanting to be the next "art revolutionaries", while putting no work into their own "art", because they only care about being seen as "unique".
Neither of them values the craft and effort that goes into the actual art-work, only the idea of Art. They want the fame of an artist, yet don't care to actually make Art.
I'm not saying "if it's not a painting, it's no art!" Christo and his late wife Jeanne-Claude did contemporary stuff that i would actually consider to be Artwork. Mostly because how they did it was actually pretty impressive. Especially the "wrapped Reichstag".
Or Theo Jannsen. Sure, one might argue that he's rather an engineer, but i do consider his Strandbeests as works of Art.
