yeah ai in any part of the artistic process is as unnecessary as it is overly complicated. i tried to use it in some cases of feedback for writing (before i found out about the global impacts of the larger physical servers- but focusing on the honest attempt-) just looking for stuff like "things that can test a romantic relationship" for some grounded examples net me a list of repeating and over specific situations and events. i ended up finding an article later- just a "10 things that can cause a break up" list- but it was much better material to chew on and find something that agreed with the plot. sometimes i hear writers justify its use with "i use it for research" buddy- you're better off watching some better call saul for authenticity than asking about law from a robot.
