This is so sad. I am curious, however.... Mom says that she constantly checked his phone and his social media and found nothing concerning while son was alive; however, upon his passing the police were able to immediately discover this "Character AI" app..... This is why I take my son's phone from him EVERY night and go through EVERYTHING-- his messages, Roblox account (which is also downloaded on my own phone so that I can look through his account at any time), call history, pictures, apps....EVERYTHING! Matter of fact, when he downloads a new app I am notified because we use a "family" account that gives me complete control. I have also taught him how to look out for scammers and predators! I am so, so sorry for this beautiful mother but parents, PLEASE pay attention to your children and their devises FOR REAL. No, we cannot always have our eyes on them but we have more control over these silly electronics than some of us want to believe.
