Personally i use, and i alway use AI art generator for fun. to make descent and easy illustration for my personal DnD with friends, nice picture to get idea, or to illustrate another AI slop (aka, text generator.) I don't really care about art stealing and such, because i don't use it to make a profit with someon else work. I don't post what my prompts generate. I don't mind artist desire to protect thier work, i encourage it. I despite corporate who want to steal from them and make a profit of selling data set. I don't ask the AI to go steal a artist work, but what i ask, is to use a fun "toy" to make thing for myself, or to use for small project that's will not be public. The problems may not be the ai Itself, but the people who use it. Have respect, have restrain, don't claim the thing as something you made...we direct the ai, we do not make "art" with it, we make...a thing, a image. AI "art" do not have artistic value, and therefore shouldn't be called "Art" in my opinion. But look like it's may be my sole opinion. As a conclusion: I'm sorry for my bad english. I do hope Law will be clearly laid out concerning AI, but i do hope the laws will not be too arsh, because i do love to make these neat little snowy moutain picture of my players doing shit around the crumbling ruin of a snowy village they just burn to the ground... Ai are, and should be tools for playing around, like a plastic talkie-walkie for child, not full devlopped multi frequency Radio with satellite connection... - Sincerly, a user of AI generator, who don't claim to be a artist at all, and will never be. (At least as long as i use AI for making pictures of my Dragonborn playing with a leaves on autaumn. maybe someday i"ll hold a pencil...who know ?)
