The saddest part about all this is... It was already hard or near impossible for introverted, low-self-worth, shy, impostor-syndrome-prone artists to make money off the the things that they create. Artists were *already* devalued.
And I don't think companies are really thinking about whether they're going to use real artists or use AI. They are going to use AI, unless they have ethics, and corporations by definition cannot be ethical. They have a responsibility to their shareholders. Which is the main problem in late capitalism. Ban corporations!
