I can't find any other reason to defend AI art despite the prospects of using it as a money printer. It's not alive, it's not original and it's not personal to anybody or anything. It's genuinely slop. There is nothing that one can boast about after making an image with AI art, the reward is non-existent as it takes literally no effort whatsoever. I'm tired of these AI bros defending the use of AI in an industry that is already hard enough to make a name for yourself in. AI is genuinely threatening people's jobs and to try and defend its use in professional areas is honestly kind of evil. Nobody should be able to make money off of AI art.
